Introduction

OCBC Wing Hang Macau is going to hold Charity Virtual Cycle in Macau again this year. This event aims to promote “Green Living and Sustainability” by encouraging the public to do more cycling and reduce the use of cars so as to help reduce carbon footprint. To support charitable causes and benefit communities, all registration fees received from the participants will be donated to Caritas Macau for charitable purposes.

Participant categories and registration fees:
  • Challenge Yourself: Aged 17 or above, to complete 100 km or more
  • Healthy Ride: Aged 15 or above, to complete 50 km or more
  • Youth Group: Aged 3 to 14, to complete 2-5km in Total
Record uploading time: 12/11/2022 (00:00 GMT +08) – 8/1/2023 (23:59 GMT +08)
Medal and finisher pack delivery/self-pack up time: February 2023 (for participants who reach their targets)

How to participate

Participant must use the Apps designated by Run2gather to record the running record and upload the record or screen capture to Run2gather's website; R2 will disqualify for who failed to upload within the mandated period or the uploaded distance is insufficient.

  1. Complete your registration on the Run2gather website (no change of distance, refund or transfer of participant quota is allowed after successful payment)
  2. Complete your targeted distance in one or more goes before 31/12/2022, 23:59 GMT+08 via the Run2gather app, other designated mobile apps or fitness equipment
  3. You can use the following methods to record your cycling completion progress (record uploading to be completed before 8/1/2023, 23:59 GMT+08)
    • Using Run2gather app – you need to log into the app and tap the bicycle icon button in the record activity field to start recording before you begin cycling
    • Using other designated mobile apps – you need to take a screen shot of the distance completed after each cycling session and upload it to your personal account on the Run2gather website
    • Using fitness equipment – you need to take a picture of the equipment screen displaying the distance completed after each cycling session and upload it to your personal account on the Run2gather website
  4. An e-certificate of completion for participants who have reached their targets will be available for download at January 2023
  5. Medals and souvenirs will be delivered / made available for collection (On February 2023)
