Introduction

This September, the Dragon Race Around Tai Mo Shan Relay is about to begin! Gather your partners to participate in this exciting and meaningful event, let us work together to develop team spirit and contribute to charity (10% of the registration fee for this event will be donated to MIG Action Limited). This is a relay race that allows you to challenge your limits and experience unlimited fun. Forming a team of four, you can use your expertise in the event. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or a passionate youth about teamwork, this relay race will be the best stage for you to show your strength and unity. Each team that completes the activity will receive a set of four dragon-coiled Tai Mo Shan medals. The three-dimensional dragon patterns on the four medals are electroplated in purple, white, gold, and green.

Invite your friends, family, and co-workers to join in and enjoy this unique cross-country relay race! The race is scheduled to be held in the afternoon (3:00 pm - 6:30 pm). In addition to avoiding the scorching heat at noon, you can also enjoy the sunset at Tai Mo Shan at dusk. We will also arrange barbecued food, soft drinks and refreshing fruits for everyone at the finish line. Event Content:

Track distance: about 3km per lap 

Each team of 4 people has completed four laps in a relay, and the team that returns to the finish line the fastest wins.

Event Contents:
  1. Men's Group (Participants must be over 18 years old)
  2. Women's Group (Participants must be over 18 years old)
  3. Mixed Group (Participants must be over 18 years old and one of the participants must be female)

  • The competition is uniformly registered by the captain, with four people per team.
  • The race has been conducted in a relay format, with each lap being 3 kilometers, with a total of four laps of about 12 kilometers.
  • The competition is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes, and the team that completes four laps back to the finish line the fastest will win.
  • Competition time First race: 1500 – 1645 (Men’s Group/Women’s Group/Mix  Group), 
  • If there are less than three teams participating in a certain category, the awards for that category will be cancelled. But you will also receive a completion medal.

Comply with event rules and accident liability guarantee

Along the way

  1. Any form of vehicle with wheels running on objects, such as bicycles, roller skates, trolleys, rollers built into or attached to shoes, etc. is prohibited from entering the track.
  2. Participants are not allowed to bring any items that pose a danger or hinder the progress of the competition (such as offensive weapons, items that hinder other participants) into the competition area. Violators will be asked to leave the track immediately.
  3. If any staff, medical staff, race director, or referee on the track requires a competitor to withdraw from the race, the competitor must immediately stop the race and leave the track.
  4. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any competitor who is proven to have received outside assistance in any way during the competition.
  5. If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of the article, the Chinese version shall prevail. Creative Linkage Co., Ltd. reserves the right to modify and interpret the above rules.

Important notes

  1. To ensure the safety of all participants, event staff will maintain order along the track, and participants must obey the instructions of the staff.
  2. Each team will be divided into different relay zones. After registration, teams can follow the instructions of the conference to arrive at their respective relay zones to prepare for the race.
  3. To avoid accidents, the organizer urges participants not to stay in the starting area and track area to take photos.
  4. In order to reduce crowding on the track and avoid accidents, participants are asked to leave the track as soon as possible after completing the event.
  5. The organizer recommends that participants purchase personal and other related insurance if necessary.
  6. If the Hong Kong Observatory has issued Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 or above or a red or black rainstorm warning signal at 6:00 am on the day of the competition (14-9-2024 Saturday), the competition will be cancelled. Participants are advised to pay attention to the weather conditions in the morning before the competition, especially tropical cyclone signals and red or black rainstorm warning signals that may be issued in the next 16 hours. For race arrangements, please pay attention to the Facebook page for announcements starting at 9:00 a.m. on the race day.

Delivery and collection arrangements

  1. Participants can choose (A) "SF Express Delivery" method for delivery or (B) "Self-Pickup"; if they choose (B) "Self-Pickup", there will be no additional charge.
  2. If you choose (A) "SF Express Collect", please pay the required freight when the goods arrive. If you choose to collect it at "SF Station/SF Smart Cabinet", please fill in the relevant address and/or number.
  3. If the participant has not collected the medal and finisher package after the designated collection period, we will deliver the goods to the participant's designated delivery address via SF Express. Please pay the required freight when the goods arrive.
