Hong Kong, also known as The Peal of Orient, is a vibrant metropolis pulsating with skyscrapers and bustling crowds. Amidst all this hustle and bustle, it’s hard for us to stop and admire the sheer beauty of this city. But if we pay a close attention, Hong Kong is also a tranquil place that is made up of many large and small offshore islands, mountains, fishing villages, and historic landmarks. Perhaps in our busy lives, we may not be able to spare time to appreciate the beauty of Hong Kong.
Therefore, we created the FIRST-EVER trail-running event with original route to offer a brand-new experience, letting our participants to explore, admire, and experience the fascinating side of Hong Kong. ULTRA TRAIL ISLANDS, the name of our event, is themed around the islands in Hong Kong.
ULTRA TRAIL ISLANDS consists of six different routes distributed across various islands. Each route varies in length and difficulty, catering to participants of all ages and abilities. ULTRA TRAIL ISLANDS wishes for every participant to appreciate the scenery along each route throughout the event.
ULTRA TRAIL ISLANDS is a series of trail-running event held virtually across multiple islands, including Peng Chau, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island, Lantau Island, and Hong Kong Island. Participants are free to choose the island route that best suits their abilities, with the designated route to be completed within the specified event deadline.
To motivate participants to actively participate in this event, the organizer will arrange a “Challenge Day” on the designated routes with designated date, providing drinkable water, photo-shooting, and luggage storage as support.
On the "Challenge Day," participants from various categories, including Individual Male, Female, Mixed Teams, and Family Teams, will compete to complete the event as quickly as possible. Those who excel will be invited to a complimentary tea gathering on the designated island, where they can enjoy food, share their experiences, and be recognized for their outstanding performance.

Participants in each Challenge Category who complete all 6 designated routes (including the Challenge Day) will be shown in our “Challenge Ranking” and the one with the shortest accumulated time will be rewarded with a mysterious grand prize.
While the top 10 Challenge Category participants with the shortest cumulative time across all six designated routes will be eligible for a 50% discount to participate in the " 'ULTRA TRAIL ISLANDS 24" event, scheduled to take place next year.
