Run2gather presents a new virtual Trail challenge, "Lantau 3 Beaches," featuring a route that combines natural beauty with an easy-to-difficulty level, perfect for all types of runners. Starting at Nim Shue Wan Beach, the run passes Our Lady of Joy Abbey, Silver Mine Bay, and then reverses along Section 12 of the Lantau Trail, passing through Shap Long , to Pui O Beach, concluding at the Pui O Beach Camping Club. The total distance is approximately 14 kilometers. This event not only challenges you but also allows you to experience the unique natural charm of Lantau Island and the joy of running! 7 Forts in One Go - Join us on the Robin’s Nest/Lin Ma Hang Country Trail and explore the former Frontier Closed Area together. The MacIntosh Forts are a group of seven observation posts built in Hong Kong between 1949 and 1953 at the border with China, The Forts were built in reinforced concrete of the same style and of very similar design, which may be categorized as Modern Utilitarian. Built on hilltops at strategic spots, with a view across the border, they were dubbed the Macintosh Cathedrals because of their distinctive appearance and outline against the skyline. ULTRA TRAIL ISLANDS consists of six different routes distributed across various islands. Each route varies in length and difficulty, catering to participants of all ages and abilities. ULTRA TRAIL ISLANDS wishes for every participant to appreciate the scenery along each route throughout the event.
